A Note on Turkish Blog Posting

I had intended to post my blog for my trip to Turkey one-day at a time, however the Turkish government has blocked all access to blogger.com. One who attempts to access the website from within the country is greeted with a blank, white page with big red letters that say, “Bu siteye erişim mahkeme kararıyla engellenmiştir.” A rough translation of this into English is, “This court decision blocked access to the site.” For this reason, I will post one day in each post, but around the day I return from the trip. Sucks for bloggers in Turkey.
